Excitement Peeing

Hi, I have a 10 month old sweet baby girl who pees just a bit when someone comes into the house or outside.


I have tried ignoring her for a bit when entering the house, taking her outside to greet people, making sure she just went outside before guests arrive. sometimes they call me and i take her out and she goes but always seems to have a little bit in her. She did this both before and after spaying.
Any suggestions and do you know if she will out grow it? thanks

My male has done this as a puppy and also after being fixed....good news is he is 6 and has not been doing this for several yrs now.

The excited/peeing behavior may be a physiological breed thing. Ours does it, too. You might consider talking with a vet who really understands the breed.
