Charlie Loves to Wave to get a treat

Charlie is nearly 13, but everybody always still thinks he’s a puppy. His special trick is to wave or shake paws for a treat. His favourite is cheese. He has a heart murmur, so he gets a cheese treat twice a day. He hasn’t worked out as a pill inside yet!

He loves his walks and sits in the hallway looking at the door. I open the door and he has to wait until I give him the release command at which point he bounces out of the house in excitement. It’s hard not to feel the love of so much joy and excitement at such a simple thing as going for a walk.

Undoubtedly, one of the best decisions we ever made as a family was to get a coton de tulear.
