Burping or Gurgling

Hi,

Our 3 yr. pld male burps or gurgles quite often. Not just after meals. I worry about acid hurting his esophagus. Has anyone else has this issue? It's not the same sound every time. He makes different noises.
We have him on omeprazole but it does not really help.

My cotton (‘Steffi’) also burps regularly after drinking water, and she drinks a lot! After drinking she’ll usually get about 15 feet from the water bowl when she burps and always brings up an ounce of water. She has no other signs that are related to acid reflux so I’ve always just assumed she drinks more than she can handle!
