Why does my dog look for grass to eat?

Why does my Coton look for grass to eat? He throws up afterward. Plus, he always is cleaning his feet. Im thinking allergies. I already have him on lamb and rice diet.

I have always heard when they have upset tummy the grass enables them to vomit and feel better. Maybe like humans taking pepcid or something.....I know mine have done the same at various times.

This is not something they do daily though. Have you heard loud growling in tummy or checked with the vet? Unless the grass is treated with chemicals it should not do any harm. Seems these little gems are famous for scarfing up things in the yard.

Constant licking on feet is a good sign of allergies, have you tried grain free or raw diet?
