What to feed, and should I get another Coton?

I love reading about all the different Cotons. I would love to hear more about what people are feeding their cotons. Mia is a year old and my vet recommended Royal Canin but I add Fresh Pet to her kibble and she usually likes it but sometimes will just eat the dry kibble. I gave her baked haddock tonight and she devoured it and carries her plate around after she was done! She is a good eater but loves her bully sticks and I make home made treats with organic pumpkin and organic peanut butter, oat flour and an egg and bake using doggy cut oats.


I would love another puppy but I'm retired and worry about my age although I'm healthy so far. She would love a playmate.

There are very good articles on yourpurebredpuppy.com/Health/articles.....
The best recommendation is making your own real food for the dog. Second choice is real frozen/ or dehyrated food that you can buy premade and third is kibble and canned food. The top recommended on that site was Orijen or Acana. There are number of articles discussing everything about these foods..good and bad.....
I use Fromm's kibble and canned food for now as recommended by the breeder with no chicken.

I also have a male Coton, Beau, who is 7 years old and have lots of food issues. I now serve him wet Halo and dry Halo and mix together and he loves it. It's all natural and organic and unfortunately expensive. You do much more than me preparing food for your puppy. I would definitely get another Coton. You will get twice the enjoyment and laughter and they will keep you young for a long time.
