Tulia in her K9 Top Coat

I have found this site so helpful in answering my questions on this rather rare breed. I live in Bermuda and have had so many problems with burrs, needles, twigs, and sand. Tulia's coat is just a magnet and when debris gets embedded she gets tangles. What a nightmare! I dreaded taking her on walks.

I found this Lycra K9 Top Coat online and it has been a godsend. Tulia actually loves it...perhaps because we laugh every time we look at her. Now I just have to pull burrs off her feet. It's easy to put on and take off and she's so cooperative, even though she's only 7 months old. I just wanted to pass this on to anyone else who might be struggling with similar issues. I understand it is also useful in preventing snow balls from collecting on the fur, although that's not a problem for me.

I posted two photos... one with the coat and one with her puppy cut. I'm trying to groom her myself which is not easy. If anyone has a good suggestion on how to get a 7-month-old puppy to stand still, I'd appreciate the advice.
