Temperament differences between girls and boys

Is there a temperament difference between girls and boys in the breed? My hubby thinks all males of any breed are more crazy, but I've had a couple of breeders say that the Coton males are calmer than Coton females. Any advice?

My boy is very excitable NEW
by: Carol and Pogo

Well I can only say that my boy Pogo (now 8) is quite a handful! He is super spunky, tenacious, playful, comical, attentive, and demands a lot of attention.... which are all the qualities I love him for.

There are other times when he will curl up next to me and snuggle. But if I get up he will immediately wake up and follow me. He's always waiting for what is next... hoping for a walk, or a ride in the car, or possibly a treat. He even gets excited when the phone rings. He looks at me and waits for the next word out of my mouth which he usually understands! It's sometimes like having a toddler around. This breed is very unique - but I have no experience with females.

Laid back girl NEW
by: Bill

My 3 year old female is very laid back and sleeps a lot. She always wants to be near us and is always ready to go for a walk of trip in the car, but doesn't get riled up except for maybe 10-15 minutes a dat when she's ready to have me chase her around the yard or play. Can't compare to a male as I don't have the experience
