Talking Cotons

Spanky's mom, you guys are all llucky to have found the right groomers for your dogs(ee my older posting about our grooming nightmares. Tuffy has categorized Groomers as scary at going to the Vet.
Laughing, Tuffy has learned "no barking", so most of the time he will gargle a growl, moan and hum, and grumble like and old man. He is so funny. When we are playing and he runs into the other room and I don't show up he does bark once, just so I can find him.
He does bark and growl when feeling threatened by strangers approaching, especially joggers, who may also appear to be bad guys running away, right? Teaching them the dog training " calm voice" command also works.

Groomer love
by: Greg

Our Rudy is the same as Spanky, he loves to go to the groomers. Miss Penny will bring her dog Izzy so they can play.....Rudy looks amazing when he gets home from Miss Penny's, and usually worn out from playing with Izzy and the cats......

I loved your article and pics. My two Cotons love to bark at people coming up the walk, anytime a dog or animal walks by (we live in the country.) My Lizzie barks to tell me things, like she wants to eat....and she will bark when I tell her no, she get quieter and quieter with her barks until it is just a grunt, ....but she always get the last bark. cracks me up. love my babies, they are 8 yrs old.
