Ruthie Rue is the most perfect traveler. She can go on an extra long trip in her car seat and never makes a peep. Of course we stop frequently for breaks, but she is the best traveler. It does not matter what you are traveling in she is gung ho for the thrill of the ride. Attached is my most favorite picture of her during one of our out door adventures.

I am still laughing after reading your story Ruthie Rue! You are quite a storyteller and hope to hear more about your wild week-end adventure with Tramp. I bet he really is a nice guy, they all cannot be royalty like you -- can they?

Your pic is just so cute. Sounds like you have alot of excitement in your life. Listen to mommy because she only wants to keep you safe. Enjoy the derby and keep us informed as to your antics.

Hellllooooo all you hounds and bitches, this is Ruthie Rue here. Boy o boy am I excited... You see my boyfriend Tramp is coming to see me for the whole weekend here in Derby land. His Mom and Dad are bringing their RV and spending the weekend at my house where I get to hang out with my gentleman friend. There will be a campfire, roasting hot dogs and Somres without the chocolate for us of course! I would just once in my life like to taste chocolate, but my Mom says noooo way kido! She says it is bad for me, but yet she gets to eat it by the bag full. Looks like to me if it is bad for me it would be bad for her. I've tried to tell her that, but she just gets this glassy eyed look on her face and keeps on eating away, not fair I say, not fair! Anyway back to my handsome Tramp who I am dying to spend some quality time with. You see Mom never lets me have any alone time with Tramp, she claims I'm to young. Once when she was not looking Tramp led me off into the woods where we went on an extreme adventure. We sniffed squirrel trails, jumped up rabbits, chased birds and even seen a snake, yeeks, I hate snakes, they scare me, but I was not to scared because I knew my Tramp would protect me. It must have been terrifying for my Mom though because she was yelling and yelling for me to get my butt back and when I did she was really disappointed in me. I could tell that was when she decided that Tramp was no good for me. You see she thinks I'm special because I'm a Coton and Tramp, well he's just a tramp. Unlike me he does not come from Royalty. He doesn't even know where he comes from. Mom says he's a pound dog, but I don't care, he's the most handsomest dog in the whole wide world to me. His Mom and Dad think I'm just perfect for him and they encourage our relationship. Well I gotta go wee wee as I'm just so excited. Maybe I can get my Mom to post a picture of me and Tramp for you just so you can see why I'm so in love with him. Till then Woof Woof!

Petsmart carrys doggles out here. Thanks on the input on the straps. I was thinking of med. I have tried them on him abt 3 times sm & med on my trips up there as I think on the fitting.

I will pay closer attn 2 the straps. Again thank u

The brand of Ruthie Rue's glasses are Doggles. I received mine from www.Baxterboo.com You may be able to find them at pet boutiques or possibly sporting good stores like Cabellas or BassPro although I can't tell you if they carry them or not. There is a www.doggles.com web site that gives you directions on how to measure for them and also buy them there. Ruthie's are small, but I wished I had gotten her the x-small as the straps are what is too big for her. She tolerates them when we are riding in open air as she does not like the wind in her eyes and I wanted to protect her eyes from any debris, but the minute we stop she wants them off....lol They come in many different sizes and colors and a couple of different styles but I chose these for protection. I could not bear it if something was to happen to those beautiful dark expressive eyes!

What a wonderful picture. Just awesome. Jonah is a wonderful traveler. Just lays on the back seat (seat belted) of course & never a peep.

I love the glasses what type r they & size? They seem to fit her face well. I've looked at a couple but not found the right ones. Living in a city I'm not really into mail order would rather try them on.

She is adorable.

Yes, she has always loved to go with us from the minute we brought her home. Even on the way home with her the very first time she was an excellent traveler at 10 weeks of age. She never uttered a peep or whined for her siblings or mother. It was like she knew she was to be with us. She is just very perceptive. She travels with us everywhere on 10 to 12 hour road trips. My husband and I joke and ask each other if we remembered to bring Ruthie because she is just so quiet in our travels. The only time she gets upset is when I get out of her sight, but she immediately calms down when I return from a potty break, etc. She knows she has a job to do as I have seizures on occasion and she has learned all by herself that she is not to leave my side until I get re-orientated. I think that is why she gets upset if I get out of her sight even for a few minutes because she knows she can't do her job. I think everyone who is owned by a Coton are truly blessed by their perceptive gifts, let alone their love and devotion to us.

I have to admit that I love the photos and stories shared on this Coton site!
Ruthie Rue is beeming with her love for adventure and It is obvious she feels safe in your care. It is such a joy to see her loving her life with you!!!
Has she always loved riding in the car? Was there ever a time she was unsure about the car?
I would love to see more photos of her!!!
