Pooping in house

Poping in the house. There is no snow on the ground now. Son hadn't gone back to school. He just started pooping indoors.

Give him time..

You didn’t say your Coton’s age. Is he a puppy? I have an 8 month old male I just bought from a breeder, he may have been house broken but in his new home he has been pottying oh in the house sometimes, and likely our fault. Even though he has opportunities to go out, maybe it’s not always the right timing. I understand small dogs like this take longer to house break and my sister who has a Havanese said it took a year before her puppy was 100% reliably house broken. I also read that they may need to poop w/in 30 minutes of eating, so maybe that will help with timing of going out.

There could be so many reasons. Is it a puppy still going thru. Are there new stressors? There could be medical issues. Or maybe there just needs to be more consistent training.
