Wondered if this is a trait of this breed and if others have found this. He is good around people. And our grandchildren. Makes me nervous at our puppy training class, which we have just started.

Mr. pip is going through his second phase. In his second phase he will develop fear things new to him, and it is normal. Since he is starting his puppy training, he will get use to other dogs and not to fear them. His aggression comes from fear, so make sure to socialize him as frequent as possible. When he becomes 9 or 10 months old, he will go through another phase and might show aggression. At that time, you need to correct his bad behavior as well as make sure he understands you will protect him always. Good Luck

my dog is 4 years old. wasn't aggressive at first. after rabies shot became so. second shot even worse. started off sweet. he is sensitive to all medications. now has IBD and colitis ( holistic vets say from rabies vaccine ).. please read Dr Ronald Schultz's Rabies Vaccine Challenge. Also Dr Jean Dodd. Think this breed is highly sensitive. In all respects. Smart, sensitive, responsive. Its worth checking into. I am trying to reach as many people as I can to protect our precious babies.
