Not playing? help

We got our puppy yesterday. All she wants to do is be held. She is not interested in any toys on her own. She will do a little tug. I dont want to create problems by holding her all the time. What to do?

She will be fine. Hold her. This is her 1st time away from mom. She'll start playing when ready. Congrats on your new puppy

Congratulations on your new puppy! I'm sure she is just overwhelmed being away from her liter mates and in a new environment. Give her lots of cuddles and make sure that she has a comfy place to nap (crate training is a great way for pups to feel safe). She will play once she is comfortable in her new home.
