Never give a dog natural bones NEW
by: Anonymous

I would not give a dog any kind of bones, or cow hoofs, or raw hide etc. The only thing I sort of trust is Bully Sticks like Performatin Ultra Bully Stick one ingredient Beef....even then you still may have to throw out the last couple of inches so they don't choke on it....

Chewing Natural Bones NEW
by: Anonymous

l was giving my Cotton nylabones to chew because l thought it helped with the plaque. She has chewed on these bones since she’s a puppy.
She had her first dental cleaning last year and had to have 7 teeth pulled. Some teeth were loose and chipped and enamel was worn. It was due to her chewing on the nylabone.
I don’t give her anymore bones. I now give greenies which was recommended by my vet this helps keep the teeth clean.
