Some possible thoughts about your dog NEW
by: Anonymous

Wow, she is a beautiful dog! I think either one of two things possibly...she is a very calm dog in which case I think you are so blessed to have such a calm quiet dog. Or possibly, did you take her to the vet to rule out any health issue like if she is sick or something that could be causing her lethargy? Like maybe they could do a blood test or something like that and check the stool, etc.

If she is not sick, then I think maybe she is very calm and since she sleeps a lot and you are home maybe she just feels so relaxed with you? Are you home a lot? If you are home a lot then maybe if she is not sick then maybe she just feels so relaxed with you and could possibly be naturally very mellow and calm? I don't know, but just some ideas. Best wishes with her, I like her a lot. Also, one month is not that long of a time, maybe she takes longer to get adjusted?

Give her time to adjust NEW
by: Iris

One month is not very long to have a dog, she is also still a puppy, a baby, and needs time to learn. She is so beautiful, and seems to be very calm. There are many websites with god advice on training and basic commands. Try offering a few bits of cooled cooked chicken meat (no bones) and lots of praise. She will learn you are her master and trust you.
Good luck,Let us know how she is doing.
blessings and love,Tuffy and mommy
