Just adopted a Coton de Tulear from a rescue group

by Brenda
(Ohio)

Yesterday afternoon, I met and brought home a little male Coton de Tulear who was rescued from a puppy mill in Arkansas. We are in Ohio. For the past five years he has lived in a cage with very minimal human contact. He is very shy , but is very sweet and gets along with our two cats and our Boston Terrier.

When I first saw him, of course, I asked what he was and I remembered the name only from watching Westminster.

Now I am so excited to get to know him and this unusual breed. Thanks for your website! We will call him Dewey.

adopted coton
by: Vicky & Jonah (Az)

I got Jonah (Coton) at 6 mo. from a lady who was having some difficulties. My family has 2 Boston Terriers who I watch when they go away for the weekend or vacation. They get along wonderful. If their is any dog who can help ur Coton learn to play a Boston is a wonderful pal. Good luck to u & what a wonderful thing to do.

Love

I love these dogs. My friend has one named Woolsey. She's beautiful. I would get one in a flash but I just can't afford one. :-(

Dewey is a lucky Coton
by: Gale

It's so hard to see and hear these heartbreaking puppy mill stories. Dewey is very lucky to have found a good home. I'm sure you'll be facing some unique challenges due to his lack of socialization, but the rewards will be well worth it.

When you get settled, we'd love to see a picture of the new addition to your family. Best of luck!
