is it safe for a coton de tulear dog to eat a veal bone?

I know it's not with steak bones that splinter however what about veal bones?

Our Coton has an oral fixation of always wanting to mash away on something. I'm just trying to be proactively safe

Thanks

I buy my two dogs bags of primal raw bones, they contain some marrow and once it is eaten out of the center they toss them around and play with them for days. Vet feels this is good for their teeth and very entertaining for them.

They are raw and stay frozen until I give them one. They do not splinter and are too large to be swallowed. Makes a great safe and good bone for them which they love.

Glad you are concerned about your puppy, I gave my poodle a round steak bone years ago and she got it stuck in her mouth, we got it out but scared me so bad I do not give them anymore.
