Ia a Malagasy Coton different from a "regular" Coton?

What is the difference between a Malagasy Coton and a "regular" Coton? This has been very confusing for us and we would like to know exactly how the two are different, if at all. Thank you for your help.

Hi!
What is the difference between the Cotons in the American coton Club and the Malagasy Coton club.
Is there a difference in size and weight?
Any other differences?

This is a good question and one I don't think has been asked here before. I know it can be confusing, but I think we've all notice that Cotons don't all look alike, right?

Some are small, white and dainty, while others are larger and can come in different colors.
