How to help my Coton attach to me.

We just got a Coton. Right now my kids and I are at school during the school day (I am a teacher). My brother is living with us temporarily, And he will be home all day every day. I am worried that my puppy will attach more to him than anyone else. Suggestions or information?

I agree with the previous comments, but it may help if you are the one feeding and grooming the puppy. Not sure if you can do that with what I'm sure is a busy schedule.

Most likely your Coton will be attached to your brother while he is taking care of him. But when he leaves your little puppy will eventually attach himself to a member of your family. It will take time.
