Chew things for Cotons NEW

Most things are not recommended for chewing. Things like bones and rawhide etc...My breeder gave us a cow hoof when we got him...that is really not that safe either. The only thing I have found that is relatively safe is Bully sticks that dissolve into a mushy mess as they chew. I buy the longer ones and cut them in half to about 6 to 8 inches and then when they get down to about 2 inches I generally have to throw them out as the dog could choke on them. There is a toy that you can stick the bully stick into as a holder so they can't get the last small piece as well. The one I use is Performatin Ultra Bully Stick 11-12 inch one ingredient Beef.....they are not cheap though.
He cannot handle the 11-12 inches, that's why I cut them...if he could it would save losing possibly 4 inches to waste though.

Chewing options NEW

Hi, besides the Kong toys which our dogs love we have now started giving yakcheese - healthy alternative and he can't eat the whole thing at once. It doesn't smell or leave stains on the carpet.
