Do males mark in the house?

Also, as I am just starting out on this adventure to purchase a pup, I would love to hear opinions about the differences in personality between male and female.


I am really looking for a happy, bouncy love bug that might want to play at agility.

Any comments would be appreciated.

We have a male and he is the best lil dog I love him so much. He puts up with 2 mean lil boys and is so good with them and protective if you're not. Family don't get between him and those kids...Resent ly our cat got hurt hes been out of sorts won't leave his side. He loves his cat. Now I don't know about the females but my male is loyal beyond compare.... I couldn't ask for a better dog. But like any puppy I will tell you socialize your puppy alot we dropped the ball there. And now we are trying to retrain him to socialize when we have guests....very protective.... incredible dog

Just watch for there certain movements. They'll tell you. But my Matty is unique. I'm in my rocker lounger and he climbs up on top and kisses my cheak. I ask him if he wants to go outside and he kisses again and it's outside we go.
They're smart once they realize you understand, they'll keep doing the same thing
