Bowie pup nose

Bowie came to us at 5 mo from a local rescue. He was rescued in Thailand with two sisters and flown to Los Angeles. He's slow to potty train . Adorable soft cotton feel coat . He has a beige nose color (I know not AKC standard). He is 9 months and loves his Nylabones as he's an extreme chewer. It isn't allowing me to post a photo from my iPhone. He likes to stand on his two rear feet and communicates with a bit of a growl. Clearly his way of communicating and nothing more. Odd?
