Adopting 2 males from the same litter?

I bought my male Coton and he is now 12.5 weeks old. I've had him for 5 weeks. His male brother (litter mate) is available and we are thinking of bringing him home so that our Coton has a playmate. I am hoping that having a playmate will prevent separation issues when I am out of the house. Any thoughts on this given the fact that they are 2 males from the same litter and if I get the second one I would have had one of them almost 2 months longer? Thanks in advance!

I have Coton sisters from same litter. I got them at the same time, and they are females, so I know my situation is a little different. I am so glad I did it! I had the same thought—
