marking inhouse NEW

thank you for the response yes we have carpet and tile that he has gone to, the very same spots, we try scrubbing and scrubbing many different things, nothing works, he has a good nose, and for all we know
it could be from the previous owner, our lab who is 11 years old had cancer surgery, she is being kept happy and conmfortable, and i went out of town for what was supposed to be 24 hours, i fell and broke my femur and had surgery and was gone for 12 days and came home to recuperate, i know dogs sense every thing, i m working so hard with him to reassure him, the male diaper drives him crazy and i keep him on a lead, which he chews up, you would think he would forgive us this all started in July after the lab came home from surgery when i was out of town, he seemed to have peed in many many places and my husband who was at home never smelled it or cleaned it I noticed it almost mmedately by it sat there I sure hope I can get in fine again, i would love to pull all of the carpets, husband says no

Carpet? NEW
by: Anonymous

This happened with my dog awhile back. For some reason, he peed on the rug while we were out (maybe he was just mad?). It took forever for us to realize that even though we cleaned the rug, he could still smell it so he kept peeing in the same spot. As soon as we removed the rug, the problem went away. I'm not sure if you've got carpet or whether your dog keeps marking in the same spot, but if so, you have to make sure the rug is REALLY clean or prevent him going back to that area (child gate works).
