Coton Connection, Issue #091 - Goodbyes are so hard
February 15, 2021
Welcome Coton Lovers:

This is the hardest newsletter I've had to write in 13 years. As many of you already know, my sweet Luc passed away on 1/27. Even though I was kind of expecting it (he was definitely slowing down and showing his age), it was a devastating blow. But mostly I'm grateful that he went quickly and didn't suffer. While I miss him like crazy and many tears have been shed, I'm thankful for all the years we had together. And I appreciate all the love and support I've received from this amazing Coton community.

The 2 questions I'm being asked right now are will I get another Coton and will I keep the website going in the future. For now, I'm not ready for another dog but there are over a dozen years of information on the website so I will keep it up indefinitely. Fortunately, this community provides almost all of the content these days, so you hardly need me:). I might not be as active as I once was (at least for now), but I will never get tired of your photos and stories. Keep them coming.

As for this newsletter, I'm going to continue to keep it on hold for now. If anyone would like to contribute any articles, events, or information, just let me know and I'd be happy to share with everyone.

I hope this crazy year has been kind to you and that you and your family (human and furry) are healthy and safe. One of the silver linings of the pandemic is that many of us got to spend more time with our families and pets.

Love,
Gale (and always, Luc)
