Coton Connection: Coton Connection Blog Ending - Issue# 125 December 02, 2025 |
Welcome Coton Lovers:It's time to say goodbyeI’ve been doing a lot of reflection lately, and after many months of thinking it through, I’ve made a big decision about the future of this Coton de Tulear blog. After 17 years, thousands of pages, countless shared stories, and more joy than I can put into words, it’s time for me to officially close the blog. This wasn’t an easy decision. When I started writing back in 2008, it was simply a way to share life with Luc and, later, Lucy. What I didn’t expect was how this little project would grow into a worldwide community of caring, supportive Coton parents. You welcomed me into your homes with your photos, questions, stories, and updates. We laughed together, we cried together, and we celebrated so many moments that only someone who loves this special breed can understand. Losing Luc and Lucy, combined with new responsibilities and shifting priorities, made me realize that I don’t have the same time or creative energy to pour into the blog the way I once did. Letting it go is bittersweet, but it also feels like the right next chapter. The good news is that our community isn’t going anywhere. I’ll be moving some of the most popular and helpful pages to the Coton Connection Facebook page so you’ll still have access to those resources. And that space will continue to be a place where you can ask questions, share photos, or simply connect with others who adore this breed.
The blog will be available until 1/15/26If you’re not a member of the new Facebook group, head over here. This is where you can ask questions, share photos and stories, and get access to some of the files and pages formerly on the blog. I'll be adding to the Files tab over the next few weeks. You can also follow the Official Facebook Page here. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Your support has meant more to me than I can ever fully explain. You’ve made these 17 years unforgettable.
I hope you’ll stay connected with me on Facebook as our community continues to evolve in this new, more interactive way.
With love and gratitude, Gale
