Our Precious Little Girl - "Cotton"

by Sherry
(FL-----USA)

Our Coton de Tulear is now 8 months old and has completely stolen our hearts!!!! Such a joy to have around and for a puppy very very good. She finds fun things to get into but with a no no she leaves them alone. What a loving devoted pet they are.

Only problem is with food; she does not like dog food. My mistake in giving her some of ours.

Truly a wonderful breed!!!!! will keep trying to find a tasty food she will eat.

Life's Abundance
by: Anonymous

We use Life's Abundance Dog Food, ordered from their website. Wilson loved it until he got a bite of cat food. He would not touch his food for days. I now mix in a little wet food (organic) once a day. He is getting better about eating what is put out for him now.

He loves green beans raw, any veggies..really anything. HE LOVES salt and vinger chips and will go crazy until you give him one or more. He now go nuts if he hears a bag of any kind open - he thinks it is chips!!

I found that if I sprinkle his food on the floor instead of a bowl..he likes that also.

a Vegetarian
by: Lubby & Bailey

Our Bailey now 1-1/2 yrs old, is also a very picky eater. It frustrates the **** outta me. He'll just turn his nose or spit out something he loved yesterday, but doesn't want today. I have found he loves fruits and veggies. Loves red and green peppers, brocolli (the stocks only)lettuce, and carrots sometime. I have to cook up chicken breast or some of our pork roast before he'll eat any meat. I have had some luck in dog foods, but, we have 3 different kinds available...as some days he loves one and not the other. And of course, most days needs to be had fed. I have never had a dog so picky. We also, have a little havanese lady and she'll eat anything...if Bailey spits it out...she is right there to pick it up.
Good luck and a lot of patience.

Picky eater

They are precious, indeed. Oliver is 4 years old and we have adored him from day one. He, too, never met a dog food he likes. We have determined that he is allergic to grains. He has not had an ear infection since we eliminated grains. Right now he is happy with
The Honest Kitchen dehydrated food, to which I add chicken and egg. He is still picky, and waits for scraps. But, this is the best diet I have found.
Good luck with your little girl.
