My rescure Coton de Tulear, Coop

by Carol S
(Florence, Oregon)

Coop(er) 5 years old

Coop(er) 5 years old

I saw Coop on Petfinder. He was nearly 3 yrs old and had never had a home. He was a product of a busted puppy mill in the mid west. Because he was filthy and not a puppy, no one wanted him at auction. He was picked up with 3 other Cotons by some wonderful foster home people who would find homes for them. He had to be shaved and 'vetted'.

His picture showed up on Petfinder with huge sad eyes and my heart stopped. I knew nothing about Cotons but found wonderful information on many websites such as this one. We adopted him and flew him to Oregon where he now lives. All the good things I read about Cotons are true. He is so loving and kind.

Many blessings to rescuers
by: Iris Miller

Dear Carol,
Thank you for rescuing Coop, and many blessings to all those involved in his care until you found him. What a story he has to tell, the best part was going home with you.
love,
Iris and Tuffy
P.S. that is a beautiful photo of him! How do you keep his hair so long (without matting up)?

Loving Rescue Dog
by: Gale

It's amazing that your beautiful rescue dog could be so loving and kind despite his early neglect. I love hearing stories like yours. Coop is lucky to have finally found a good home.

Thank you so much for sharing.
