Mischievous Maisie

This is my beautiful Maisie who is four months old now. She is amazing, full of life and extremely feisty, she's not fazed by anything. We all absolutely love her and are so lucky to have her in our family.

Breeder

We are thinking of getting a Coton. I have met a few and I think my feelings about the breed can be summed up thus: there is nothing more gorgeous than a good, confident, friendly Coton, but there are some Cotons out there who are timid and snappy. I want to take my new dog into care homes as a PET (Pets As Therapy). Also, although my children are grown up now, we have loads of little ones through our house so I want a dog who will be unphased by (supervised) babies and toddlers. I have come to the conclusion that good socialisation at an early age is essential and wondered if you would recommend your breeder? So difficult to choose off the page. Any help would be wonderful. Thank you.

Cutie

Maisie is so cute! I plan to get another Coton next year, after I buy a house.

I agree with everyone. Cotons are the best! Beau is my first dog, and he is so wonderful I can't imagine having any other breed. Even my mother likes him, and she has NEVER liked dogs!

Maisie

Congrats on your new family member. She is just so precious and cute!!! Happy for her that she is so loved. Cotons are just so special. I feel they completely tune in to our feelings, my little girl sure does. Love her coloring but as you have been told it may change. Mine is losing her apricot color but if she turned purple it would not matter. She is the very best.

Good luck with her and please keep the pics coming. Love looking at these gorgeous dogs.

Maisie

She's a cutie! Tuffy was multi colored until he had to be shave after four months because his hair got very cottony and matted. His hair grew back all white except the ears, they had streaks of grey.
Have fun with you Coton.Mine is now six years old and still very playful. They love to run around and play chase.
Blessings.

Maisie

We got Maisie from Cotontastick in Doncaster. Have heard she's not great but she certainly breeds lovely dogs. We're hoping she'll keep her lovely colouring but have been told she may go all white!?!?!

So Adorable!

Your puppy is so cute! I agree with the other posts. My Bailey just turned two years old. I have had a couple of other breeds including a Labrador, who was a very good dog.But none have compared to the amazing personality of this breed. Bailey has been so easy to train, well behaved, and simply a JOY!
I'm sure you will also find this to be the case with your sweet puppy. This website is a great resource should you run into any questions. Coton owners are so supportive of each other and the breed. Congratulations and Good Luck!!

Maisie is adorable! Cotons are the best. Our Domino just celebrated his first birthday last month. We're so glad he joined our family. Where did you get Maisie?
