I just wanted to post a pic of Charly - my boy . He's been gone 4 months now and my heart still hurts from the loss of my best friend. I miss him every moment of the day.Don't know how to be without my lovely naughty boy. Theres a void now in my life I can't fill.

I love looking at all your lovely pictures and reading your stories. Makes me smile and cry at the same time. I can see my Charly in a lot of these faces and that brings me comfort. I just want him to be seen and loved and never forgotten. My amazing French feisty beautiful anxious Coton.

I don't know how old you are but when my Samantha Silky Terrier passed around 49yo it hit me harder then any of my other pets. Not that all were not loved & missed but hard.

For the first time in my life I lived without a dog for 4 yrs then I got Jonah. I'm sorry their is no magic answer except when your heart is ready you will know. In the meantime I'm sorry for your loss.

I did up my dog foster work. When I didn't have a foster I would spend more time at shelter walking dogs or whatever. Maybe for the time u could do it 1 day a month, week just to fill a void.

I cry just reading your message. Our little girl, Izzie will be 6 soon and already I can't even think of losing her. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you. I would go find another Coton, not to replace you boy, but to enjoy another one of this special breed.

MY thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know I will never find another dog exactly like mine....but I will probably try. Maybe when your heart heals a little, you can too? We all must face that difficult day. I can't ever see myself being without a little white Coton. They bring us so much love and friendship....
