Boobie has allergies and I have tried numerous foods.

He is getting grain free food. Can anyone suggest a food that has helped their dog with allergies.

FOOD ALLERGIES NEW
by: Reenie & CoCo

CoCo rejects most commercial products, dog foods dry, wet, canned and basically all commercial treats too.

For lunch and dinner foods he loves home cooked chicken breast, yams, ham, peas, hamburg, carrots, steak and corn. For breakfast he responds to egg fried rice with fresh bacon.

He loves butter and olive oil on his meals.

For treats he responds to apple chunks, cheeese, potatoe chips, popcorn, blueberries and raw carrots & string beans.

If I can not make home made meals, he responds best to human canned food - chicken or ham. At Dollarrama FDA approved human meat in cans is cheaper than dog food in tins!

CoCo refuses to use scented peepee padies. No scent only.

He responds well to natural flea & tick control - essential oils rather than toxic flea powder.

He does not like sythenetic smelling shampoos or conditioners.

CoCo loves warm milk, rye bread crusts dipped in, early mornings. He also loves home baked "cookies".

I think CoCo is allergeic to preservatives. When I push commercial product on him he refuses to eat til he's starved. Then he gets runny stools. If I home cook a variety of foods his stools are perfect and he's dam excited and hungry to eat!

Stella and Chewys raw, comes freeze dried or frozen. Expensive, but I think very healthy. I also crush one ANTRONEX tablet into her food daily which was first prescribe by my vet. I think my dog has hay fever type allergies, not food allergy

Good luck

I buy Darwin's Pet from Washington State - it seems to have helped JR with allergies. It's raw - but I cook it.
